Update: Anthony Davis of New Orleans Pelicans left Friday’s game with a groin injury to his left leg and is not expected to return, the New Orleans Pelicans announced. He suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of the Pelicans’ game against the Utah Jazz.
It’s concerning that Davis couldn’t put weight on the leg and collapsed without contact on an otherwise innocuous play under the basket.
